A land of mountains and mesas, Zion National Park in southern Utah is one of America's most popular parks. Hiking possibilities are endless for those who like to get out and stroll in nature. The six mile long drive into Zion Canyon is restricted to private vehicles staying at Zion Lodge, all other visitors must board the park shuttle bus to go into the canyon. The shuttle runs frequently and has helped cut down on pollution in the valley itself.
