Pipe Spring National Monument
Pipe Spring National Monument is located in a remote area known as the Arizona Strip. This area is cut off from the rest of Arizona by the Grand Canyon. The spring has made this location a popular spot, with the Ancestral Puebloans being the first group through, and the Kabab Paiutes followed them in making use of the reliable water source. Next came the Missionaries and explorers, then finally the Mormons, who built the current ranch and the fort 'Winsor Castle'.
